Hull Vane BV joins Green Marine Partners’ ranks

Hull Vane BV develops and provides innovative solutions to improve a vessel’s performance, comfort and seakeeping.

The Hull Vane® is the company’s patented submerged stern wing designed to reduce a displacement or semi-displacement ship’s resistance and motion in waves. Established in 2014, the company began developing the Hull Vane as a spinoff from research it originally conducted for the America’s Cup. The Hull Vanes installed on numerous vessels have proven their effectiveness and durability time and again.

In 2019, Hull Vane BV launched an active version in partnership with Naiad Dynamics called the Dynamic Hull Vane.®

Foil Assist is the company’s solution for planing vessels, and consists of wing-mounted midships, which improves the ride characteristics and efficiency when sailing through waves at high speeds.

Hull Vane is based in Wageningen, the Netherlands.
