Green Shipping Day 2026: Five Partners Supporting Green Marine Europe

For Green Shipping Day 2026, Green Marine Europe was pleased to count on the support of five partners committed to the event: EUROMARITIME and Armateurs de France as Ocean Transition Partners, and PONANT, Bawat and Grand Port Maritime de Bordeaux as Marine Commitment Partners.

A leading event for the French and European maritime industry, EUROMARITIME supports the sector’s industrial, technological and environmental transformation.

The event brings together the entire maritime and inland waterway value chain around key challenges including fleet modernisation, the evolution of port infrastructure, decarbonisation, safety and innovation. Its next edition will take place from 1 to 3 February 2028 at Parc Chanot in Marseille.

As the professional organisation representing French shipping and maritime services companies, Armateurs de France brings together around 60 members operating across a wide range of activities, from freight and passenger transport to maritime services, offshore activities, oceanographic research and subsea cables.

A partner of Green Marine Europe since its creation, Armateurs de France shares a common objective with the programme: supporting maritime companies in their continuous improvement pathways, recognising measurable commitments and contributing to an environmental transition that takes into account the sector’s operational realities.

Its support for Green Shipping Day 2026 is a natural continuation of this long-term cooperation.

Three Marine Commitment Partners with Complementary Profiles

Green Shipping Day 2026 also benefited from the support of three Marine Commitment Partners.

PONANT brings the perspective of a shipowner committed to innovation and to reducing the environmental footprint of its operations.

Bawat contributes its technological expertise in ballast water management, an issue directly linked to protecting marine ecosystems and preventing aquatic invasive species.
